Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae: Nymphalidae) Wingspan: 6.4-7.6 cm (2.5-3.0 in). Nectaring Brazilian Vervain (Verbena bonariensis: Verbenaceae).
Habitat
Planted arboretum with some natives at ca. 99 m (325 ft) elevation.
Location
Brazos County Arboretum, Bryan, Texas, USA.
