Gulls galore

Gulls galore

Very odd this. Just a few days before Christmas all the gulls were sitting on the roof of a neighbouring building at first light.

An assortment there, Black-headed, Common and Herring. There were loads more than shown in this picture (probably about 30) and they flew to the garden, back to the roof, round and round for about an hour.

Then they all disappeared.

I've not seen this before, nor since. I was trying to get flight shots... but didn't do too well LOL.

Wonderful shot and narrative, Delia ... strange behavior on their part ... tfs ...

Not as many Gulls there as there is here in the Old Town Delia...Good effort, at least you got em in the frame lass...All the best.

Lovely lighting in this image of your gull visitors flying round the gardens. In my place , we get herring gulls and they compete with magpies for roof-places.

A lovely shot of these circling Gulls, Delia. Thanks for sharing.
I often see gulls standing on the rooftops and circling round my garden. One or two will be brave enough to land and grab food off the bird table. They will also wait for birds to leave the garden with food in their beaks and then chase after them.

Great shot Delia! well done. No Gulls here in Belmont, just see the odd one fly over occasionally :t:
