Gulls galore

Gulls galore

Very odd this. Just a few days before Christmas all the gulls were sitting on the roof of a neighbouring building at first light.

An assortment there, Black-headed, Common and Herring. There were loads more than shown in this picture (probably about 30) and they flew to the garden, back to the roof, round and round for about an hour.

Then they all disappeared.

I've not seen this before, nor since. I was trying to get flight shots... but didn't do too well LOL.

Excellent picture of these gulls shown in an urban setting. Bird species show up in odd places, it is always nice when you get witness it (lol). TFS D!!!!!!

Lovely capture and details. Guess they like travelling. LOL.
Gulls are visible in the sky above my place as well frome time to time. Sometimes with odd noise. Guess they explore their habitat around lakes and rivers here.

For some reason your camera decided it was more interested in the storage shed, maybe wondering if the gulls were after something inside it ;) But if it was trying to sabotage your shot it failed terribly because you got a great image of the swirling gulls |=)|

Lovely capture Delia, the female Paradise may be more colourful but she is also the most noisy!!!
Dick.
