Gulp! (Ardea alba)

I turned to take a bite of my own sandwich, and when I turned back, the egret had finally got his lunch down his throat and was swallowing repeatedly to get it further down.

It's beyond late here now. I have to get some sleep. Now that I'm back on line, I'll try to catch up browsing tomorrow.
