If Mallards weren't so common, we'd be driving from the far corners of the county to see them whenever one was reported, as we do now when a Mandarin on rare occasions shows up.
Indeed, if these birds happen to be infrequent or non existent for some birders they would high on those birders priority list. Gorgeous drake and beautiful close-up Doc! TFS!
