hare today... (Lepus europaeus)

I've spent some time recently trying to get shots of hare with no luck, but jammed this one this afternoon. Just wished I'd had the big lens with me so I could have done it without the need to crop...

reasonable crop - ISO400, f7.1, 1/400th
Location
Castle Acre, Norfolk
Date taken
09/04/08
Scientific name
Lepus europaeus
Equipment used
EOS40D, 400 f5.6
Hope it's not gone tomorrow! Cracking shot Peter, they are always too distant when I see them, or more to the point when they see me!

Good you had your small golden gun at hand ;) ... great capture anyway, good job Peter!
