Haven't seen this one for years (Helmitheros vermivorum)

In fact I couldn't even remember its name.

I'm grateful for the I D section for reminding me of its name.

Went through my records and it was my 99th yard bird 8 years ago.
Myrtle Beach, SC
Scientific name
Helmitheros vermivorum
Equipment used
Nikon D90, SIGMA 80-400/4.5-5.6 DG OS plus a 1+1/4 extender. Hand held
Very nice image! First time seeing this interesting warbler with this curious name...

Gosh!! He had a good memory to manage to find his way to your yard after all these years, didn't he KC;)

I saw your ID thread and was hoping this guy would find his way into your Gallery before too long! A fine picture of a really interesting species. I just love the name too.

Thanks lass.
I haven't seen one of these in years either. Such an attractive warbler too. Great find, capture and picture KC. A real treat to view. TFS!
