Having the last word (Tringa totanus)

Last bird shot of the trip, so gotta let him have the last word. Husband also - and rather uncharacteristically for him - was captivated by this one. He commented that he was quite awestruck by how much noise such a tiny body could produce. I guess he's forgotten our oldest child's colicky first 3 months ;) :-O

Wow, that is pure Bird Art Miss Ann. Excellent work. My first child was also colick. Being my first child I didn't know any different.
 
can hear him calling up to here, Ann, another superb photo of this alert redshank, top class, many tfs!!!

A wonderful shot of him defending his territory. They love to get up high to remunststrate don't they. What a beautiful bird with so much character. I have a very similar shot in the the same circumstances.

I'm not surprised Jan was captivated by this guy Ann.... he's gorgeous, isn't he.

You need to introduce him to a Wren, as he's forgotten about your eldest ... is that the son I met? He's not tiny now, is he LOL
