Also last month - goose migration was in full blast. Apr 13 I took a birding buddy to see the geese further in the fjord. We saw 1000 the first spot we tried, 1500 the next, 2000 the next after that, and at least 4000 at the fourth stop. Here's just one small section of one sandbar at stop 2. Didn't have time now to pick and choose and resize shots to share the best, but I'll try to get back to them. We mostly saw Pink-footed Geese (and Oystercatchers), but also some Greylags and a handful of Bean Geese + other birds migrant and otherwise. It was a big day, and hard to know where to even point the camera.
