Hemp Broomrape (Orobanche ramosa: Orobanchaceae) An introduced species in Texas. It is an annual, obligate parasitic herb growing 10.2-30.5 cm (4-12 in tall) at maturity; favoring crops and cultivars in the Solanaceae family but will parasitize other plants as well.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Open park with scattered pecan and post oak trees with an un-named creek at ca. 88 m (289 ft) elevation.

Camelot Park, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
