Heron scenery...a misty day. (ardea cinerea)

Bernard Brunet. Field drawing.

Lac du Der. In a misty day.
Scientific name
ardea cinerea
:bounce: Bernard, this sketch made me smile from ear to ear: the Heron shape is peerless, a delightful caricature!!! o:) And it lacks nothing in the scene, I'm sure all of us can identify it from somewhere in our respective patches... This went streight into my heart, and I'm sure it will into Tilly's too! |=)|

A super-post, Bernard!!! :t: :t:

A drawing so many of us can relate to Bernard. Now, instead of mist I'd like to think it is a snow covered piece of earth. One of my favorites of yours I think.

Brilliant depiction Bernard!! enough to melt a ladies heart my friend, and make man envious of your undoubted talent :t::t::t:

This is beautiful Bernard, Tilly will just love it o:) She is busy having her new kitchen done but will pop on here when she gets a few minutes break from the chaos. Excellent work Bernard o:)o:):t:

Many thanks for your kind words,KC,Ken and Julie :t:

And you are right for the snow,KC;) It was a winter day too ;)

A lovely drawing that we all relate to, Bernard :t: ! Too hot in our lowlands for snow but everything else goes. Great work my friend  :t: !

The shape tells me this heron is a comedian with a sting in his beak Bernard!!! Lovely stuff.
