Heron Tai Chi
A

Heron Tai Chi (Ardea cinerea)

I'm not sure what it was up to, but it suddenly raised one leg and held it out in front and hung its wings out at an odd angle - then held that position for a couple of minutes. It reminded me of an old guy who used to do Tai Chi exercises in the park near where I live. It looked pretty uncomfortable to me, but to each his own, I guess!

Dont know what its up to Andy, but it makes for a very interesting shot, good un mate.

Rings bells in my head - The Karate Kid I think, one of the most unusual poses I have seen a Heron pull. Great expression too. This a terrific capture Andy!
