..... LOL I'm getting vertigo looking at these Chosun!!!

What a cracking view that is - very well done lass. Many thanks for showing us pictures of your country.

Lol Thanks Delia :)
There's a very gently sloping all access cemented path of ~400m length to the lookout right opposite the Sisters where this photo was taken from. A few! steep flights of steps down there is also a small footbridge (visible in my first photo of all 3 Sisters) across to the first 'Sister' which you can walk across and sit on a bench seat under a rock overhang. There's also nearly a 1000 !! :eek!: steps down a very! steep winding steel staircase (think fire escape steep and tightly winding) down to the valley floor below ..... now that really could give you vertigo! although magnificent views and opportunities to see all manner of birds in the ever changing canopy and shrubs on the way :)

I do recommend a firm grip though! I remember once climbing down these stairs on a misty autumn morning with a friend of mine who was in front. We were both wearing heavyish day packs .... and despite my top notch hiking boots, I slipped taking his legs out from under him and we both went barreling down a flight of stairs --- Wiping out a dozen boy scouts along the way to all finish up in a crumpled heap at the bottom of 15-20 stairs !!! :eek!: ...... luckily no-one was injured at all, so LOL !!! :-O

For those that don't find the prospect of climbing 1000 near vertical stairs back up to the top, there's a lovely undulating walk of an ~ hour along the bottom of the escarpment through varied lush and drier forest, and past waterfalls, to the bottom of the next headland where the "Scenic Railway" will take you back to the top :) ...... of course it can also take you down as well if your footing is more circus clown than mountain goat sure! :-O

There's also a lovely gentle winding ramped walk there through the lush 'rain'forest at the bottom, suitable for the less mobile -highly recommended :t:
