Hi Woody!

Another bird I talk to a lot. The hairy and downy woodpeckers here have little fear of me, and often land quite close as I'm putting out seed and peanut butter, impatiently squeaking at me the whole time. This one here just gave me a reproachful look as if to ask, "When's all this darn snow going to stop?!"

Looks like it's near blizzard conditions but this beauty doesn't look bothered. Super capture Bill.
 
Such sweet images of this woodie and the jay! I have to agree with you on the look of this one. Wish you could send some of that snow this way where it's badly needed!
