Hidin' Francolin (Scleroptila afra)

This Grey-winged Francolin (Francolinus africanus) was one amongst a troupe which we found on our recent trip to South Africa. There were about 12 of them, all present in a subsequent shot, however they are so well camouflaged I can only see about 6. The francolins in general were a highlight of our trip, but few are as stunning as the Grey-winged.
