Hiding, as usual

Hiding, as usual (Erithacus rubecula)

Most Winters I get a Robin wintering over in my garden, and like most Winters, last Winter's robin tended to hide deep in the Philadelphus bush. What is it Delia calls birds who do this sort of thing? Ratbags?

OK. Off to bed. Tomorrow morning I finish packing my carry-ons, including the computer. We're out of the house by 11 am, drive the borrowed tea mugs back to daughter's place and have lunch there, then off to the airport. We'll arrive home late. Thursday, after catching up on laundry, grocery shopping, the garden ... I can finally start catching up on browsing BF. Looking forward to it |=)|

Nice bit of focusing through he branches. This little cutie obviously felt it was concealed from prying eyes (lol). Excellent job Doc!

I like the way just the face is in focus peeping over the branch. Tfs Ann.

Yep.... ratbags will do nicely Ann. Or toerags could fit too LOL

Though you can hardly blame them for trying to get what shelter they can, can you. Just be grateful there's no leaves, like on my beech hedge LOL

A lovely and cute image that lassie.
