High Count (Aquila chrysaetos)

There were 26 Golden Eagles that migrated by this location on October 30, 2015. I was there for 8 of them along with 16 migrating Baldies; 3 Sharpies, one Red-shouldered Hawk; one Coopers, and a juvenile Peregrine Falcon just to name a few. Steady Northwest winds aid the migration and are key to high Golden Eagle counts here in late October and early November. I have only gotten better photos of these GEs in Jackson WY, but have never seen as many on one day as there in Oneonta, New York
