Hill view
Out of a side window of the hide, I got this view through the middle distance trees to the Lomond Hills beyond.

Not sure, but think the village on of the Balgedies (East or West). This part of the hills is West Lomond at 522m.

The area is used by the local gliding school as they get plenty of lift from the thermals.... as do the raptors. I took the picture in the hope there might be the odd one circling round, but can't see one.

The hill looks enormous over that small village and beautifully illustrated D!
 
Lovely photo, Delia :) I feel the need to go! The only problem is I'm the other end of the country, lol.

It does look like a brilliant place for gliding with easy take offs and marvelous scenery. TFS D!
