Himalayas - 279
Just as we had finished
shooting the images and
videos of Rufous-bellied
Niltava ... a light drizzle
had already started ...

... it soon picked up
and we had to rush back
to our hotel room
barely able to save our
equipment ...
It continued to rain
throughout that day
with spells of very heavy
downpour ... barring
a half an hour period
of very fine precipitation

And ... it was ...
then
... that ... this
lovely Flycatcher
started calling
in distress ... probably
peeved at excess downpour
and rain not allowing
him to feed ... and take
care of his brood ...

He was sitting in a
tall Oak ... visible from
the hotel window albeit
in most un-photogenic
situation ... with
utmost difficulty ...
I could maneuver the
camera through the grill
... managing the video
and stills separately ...

I've stitched the two
together in the following
clip ...

A rather pretty species Alok.... shame you had such difficult conditions for taking his picture.

..... and such a shame for the bird too - I hope they weather the storm OK.

I've changed the scientific name you used Alok, as I can't see any reference to ceylonica Avibase.
