Himalayas - 614

A denizen of the
high ... fast flowing
Himalayan Streams ...

Usually seen at the
altitudes between
6600 ft to 13500 feest
during summer ... may
come down to lower
altitudes during
winters ... but
surprisingly we have
found a pair breeding
at an altitude less
than 5000 feet where
this male was recorded
...

A male seen here
showing his prized
possession ... and
a female was
nearby ...

So, so beautiful and you sure got a great image of this gorgeous Redstart R&A!

what beautiful redstart this is, Alok, and a marvelous photo, awesome work, many tfs!!

Reminds me of my time in Thailand. I was eagerly looking for them in Doi Inthanon NP. Walking along the streams and always afraid of snakes. 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍 You can be cautious but my experience is that you often notice them very late, luckily not too late.
A wonderful close-up of this cutie.
