Beautiful exposure, really captures the greyness of the day and doesn't blow the highlights. Pinprick sharpness on the fish. Quite grainy - is it heavily cropped?

OzGora, yes as been cropped down to make it a 'square' pic, as even when square, was still too big, so as been reduced quite a lot to get it down to '800 x 800 max', so i guess the 'grain' is to do with all that cropping/compressing etc. Though having looked at the original image more closely, it does seem to be more grainy than i realised originally!! Why i don't know, maybe my unsteady hands & waving the camera around trying to get a shot didn't help
