Honey bee (Apis Mellifera)

" Oh what a glorious thing to be a healthy grown up busy , busy bee ..... " - Arthur Askey - Busy Bee Song.

A bee chooses its approach and landing site within a poppy flower in my garden.

These poppies suddenly appeared one year in my garden and thankfully have given a show every year since albeit short lived.
The richness of their colour is beautiful and the bees love them while they last.

That's a wonderfully sharp flight picture, with a lovely colourful flower there too.
