Hooded Parrot (m)
The Hooded Parrot has a limited and declining range, so it was good to catch up with a small flock of them. They nest in termite mounds, which is unusual.

I just can't imagine coming across this beautiful bird in the wild. It would be pure ecstasy for me. A beautiful image Peter.

love parrots peter and this is a beauty and looking at its info a good job it is bred in captivity too.one i have not seen.many tfs.all the best margaret.
