Lovely birds, aren't they? I saw some in Romania last year, but didn't get very close. I'm told the ones in Spain are more cooperative. I wonder if I'll see any when I'm there in a few weeks. I also wonder what happened to the ones down your way. I know many species are in decline, but each for slightly different reasons. I think it's important to find out those reasons ... before we make more species extinct ... before we make ourselves extinct.
