House Finch (Carpodacus mexicanus)

Back on the home front. One of many house finches coming to the feeders now that winter has set in. Try as I might to make this guy in to a Purple Finch there just wasn't enough color on it....lol I usually get a couple of Purple Finches mixed in with the numerous House Finches after the snow starts, so will be keeping my eyes open.
