House Gecko
House Gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus: Gekkonidae) These tropical geckos are wall climbers ranging from 7.6-12.7 cm (3-5 in) long. One of the few lizards you can actually hear vocalizing. Photographed on a ceiling at our hotel in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. Surrounding area is Tropical Dry Forest sitting at ca. 61 m (200 ft) above the bay.
