House Sparrow
They look lovely sitting in bushes, don't they.

What a miserable day it is today - the wind woke me up in the early hours and I had to bring in the window feeder, as the feed was sopping wet in the tray!

What a beautiful reminder of back when the sun was shining - very sharp and well lit! |=)| I think we've got your Eva blowing here now, and whoever F is will be coming in a few days. Luckily, the winds are slowed down a bit by the time they reach us this far in the fjord here. Coastal areas, on the other hand ... :eek!: And the next one (which I'm guessing is the one you have now) looks to be a doozy! It's expected to pick up speed on its way past Iceland and push warm air all the way to the Pole, raising temperatures there by as much as 50C.

Lovely capture of this handsome Spadge...Well done Delia. Its really windy here in Norfolk too.

A beauty of a shot, lighting and setting Delia, many tfs. We have escaped the worst of the storm but my friends in Greenhill Lockerbie are worried about the river Annan getting closer to the houses.

A beautifully captured and lit image of this Sparrow D. Nice work girl.

Nice to see the rays of the sun bringing out the warmth of this beauty amongst the calm of the leaves. Brilliant and welcome capture Delia, well done.

Stunning detail, eye and colors, here, Delia ... great work ... tfs ...

A beautiful male sparrow picture. Lovely and noisy/social birds.
Ever thought about the positive effects of an early morning exercise?
Sports mode was a good choice for a sparrow in rest.
I filled the flower pot saucer with raisins for the blackbirds at 5 am today.
Forgot it yesterday evening. LOL.

He's just so handsome sitting there. Great job Delia. It's nasty out here too Delia and my birds are constantly sitting on the railing waiting for me to fill their feeders.
