Hovering Hawker 2 (Aeshna mixta)

Twitching Dragonflies again I'm afraid! Visited Amwell in the hope of seeing the Osprey (s) that has been seen 3 times in the last 10 days, but not really a dickie to be seen! Took this off the cuff using AF - couldn't believe it when the AF locked! This is the result, cropped and put through Neat Image.

Not sure if you have entered the monthly competition Paul but this would deffo be worthy of getting into the voting columns imho....fabulous.

You are becoming something of a dragonfly chappie, but bring em on I say !!
 
WOW, Paul, this one turned out superb!!! You have to be with this as chuffed as with the other frontal view you posted before!!! :bounce: :t: :loveme:
