Hunting Heron (Ardea cinerea)

There's always a Heron in the reedbeds, even when there appears to be nothing else about. At least that's the way it seems to me. This one was stalking along in the reeds at Minsmere on a calm and overcast afternoon. Ron

Oh it's a beauty Ron, don't seem to have seen a heron for days!!!
