Hunting Owl (Asio flammeus)

Amazing views of at least three different Shorties last night hunting over the salt marsh gliding along just a few feet above the ground. Several friends had come along to see them. All of us expecting to see just one or two at most. However three were in view together for about an hour. As soon as one flew out of view another popped up behind us. Possibly 4-6 were actually around the area.
