Some places, like Oxenford Weir, you just have to have your eyes looking in all directions and at all levels!

For no sooner had I taken the picture of the cormorant at water level than I spotted a Great Crested Tern hovering up in the air trying to spot a fish!

I was pretty pleased with this result from that new camera, I'd only really attempted large birds like the kite before this.

Flight shots are difficult work dear Delia , even with DSLR cameras , and with compact cameras it is harder , but you have done a very nice flight shot , very beautiful flying tern ,many TFS MF ;)
