I can see this one!! (Columba palumbus)

Obviously I need to go to SpecSavers... there were indeed 8 Sparrows in my last picture.... it was the very bottom one I missed.... strangely, more obvious than the very top one, which I could see.

A funny old world.

This pigeon comes for several days, or weeks, at a time then disappears for weeks. I've not seen one for ages, so I suppose I'm due another visit soon.

Two consecutive days of sunshine!!! Amazing.... but a very heavy frost, which doesn't seem to be melting.

Great shot of him Delia, when I top up my feeders I sprinker seed on the grass and my pigeons soon appear, Tfs
 
Great pose and detail, Delia. If you've not seen it before; buy some monkey nuts and watch as they disappear into that tiny mouth of a Wood Pigeon ;) They swallow them whole... even the Crows struggle to do that
