I can see this one!! (Columba palumbus)

Obviously I need to go to SpecSavers... there were indeed 8 Sparrows in my last picture.... it was the very bottom one I missed.... strangely, more obvious than the very top one, which I could see.

A funny old world.

This pigeon comes for several days, or weeks, at a time then disappears for weeks. I've not seen one for ages, so I suppose I'm due another visit soon.

TTTW

Two consecutive days of sunshine!!! Amazing.... but a very heavy frost, which doesn't seem to be melting.

A fabulous, detailed image of Woodie, Delia !!! Thanks for sharing.
My woodie has recently returned having been absent from the garden for ages.

Well lucky you, no sign of any bl**dy sunshine here...A well captured Woody, well done Delia.

Perhaps some Hawk activity sends them away for awhile?

Ahhh, your blushing woody |=)| Very pretty! And I was pretty sure I counted 9, but one of them was just a vague blob behind some leaves, so I may have been wrong about that one. As for weather, we had a dusting of snow the other day, but today it's been pouring rain and blowing a gale. NOT my favorite weather for this time of the year.
