I can see this one!! (Columba palumbus)

Obviously I need to go to SpecSavers... there were indeed 8 Sparrows in my last picture.... it was the very bottom one I missed.... strangely, more obvious than the very top one, which I could see.

A funny old world.

This pigeon comes for several days, or weeks, at a time then disappears for weeks. I've not seen one for ages, so I suppose I'm due another visit soon.

Two consecutive days of sunshine!!! Amazing.... but a very heavy frost, which doesn't seem to be melting.

I love the birds that come and go like this. Trouble is I worry when they've been gone too long. Your visitor here sure is a pretty one.

Nice one Delia,I'll tell you what girl, I have loads of these in my garden, I shoot frozen sprouts at them but you could have all of them, if I could catch them. Seriously though, it is a fine shot. :t:

A wonderful image of this occasional visitor, Delia. BTW, has G. B. always been cloudy or is it global warming?
