A favorite book from when I was little was "One Morning in Maine". It's about a little girl with a loose tooth. Her parents tell her that when it falls out, she can put it under her pillow and make a wish to the tooth fairy. But one day when she's out with her father digging for clams in the mud flats, the tooth falls out and is lost in the mud. They dig and they dig, but can't find the tooth. Finally they give up and go to the local store. Everybody there admires the empty spot where her tooth was and asks what she got from the tooth fairy, but she got nothing because the tooth fell out while they were clamming and got stolen by a clam, but if you ever find a clam with an ice cream cone, then that's the one that stole her tooth, she says. So the store keeper gives her an ice cream cone and her wish comes true after all.
Now, do you think if I blew all the seeds off this frozen dandelion that it would warrant a frozen wish, like maybe an ice cream cone?
