I Want My Picture Taken
A very cooperative white-crowned sparrow (A big thank you!!! scottishdude for the ID) sitting on a branch. He was so small, I had to nail him with my 70-300mm. He allowed me and Heather to take numerous shots of him. This was taken at Serpentine Fen.
Location
Serpentine Fen
Date taken
May 27, 2008
Scientific name
Zonotrichia leucophrys
Equipment used
Nikon D50, 70-300mm f/4-5.6 (non-stabilized)
Thank you...I don't have a bird guide, so when I take a picture, I need to rely on someone else to tell me what it is unless it's common knowledge like a blue heron or something. Small songbirds are not my forte.

o:) How lovely of it to collaborate so nicely!!! o:) The pic is beautiful, super-duper job done with that 70-300mm!!! :t: :t:
