I'm watchin you!

Euro Starling. Although we didn't have them in the numbers that some places did, these guys still used to flock in this area in pretty large numbers. At times they would come through our yard like a wave, and attack our feeders and suet cakes like a pack of dogs. They'd clean everything out in a manner of minutes. They used to make me very annoyed. Now I sort of feel sorry for them. There numbers seemed to have collapsed. I see them in small groups of ten, five, or less, or just loners like this one today, perching all by himself with not another starling in sight.

Superb detail in this fabulous capture, wonderview. Thanks for sharing. I estimate there were 30 to 40 in my garden today, eating me out of house and home, but I must admit I rather like these comical characters. They are very sociable birds so its unusual to see a loner.

Love the photo of this cheeky chappie. Starling 'murmurations' and well and truly going this year well into the evening time.
