immature brant goose (branta bernicla)

this lone youngster landed close to where I sat, a few minutes after yesterday's peregrine was gone. The poor thing completely ignored me, it seemed quite exhausted and immediately started drinking and eating algae.

The only time I ever got this close to a Brent goose was many years ago. This is a marvellous capture, JJ!
