In Brenne,in a distant Christmas day. (cervus elaphus)

Bernard Brunet. Field drawing.

Brenne. In a frosty Christmas day,many years ago.

For you,Sam:just a reply to your recent request under my last roe deer sketch.
This one is really very old;my style was a bit uncertain and not fixed yet.
Scientific name
cervus elaphus
Oh Bernard,what a magnificent sketch,he looks very noble and king of all he surveys. :t::t:

Cora.

Thank you very much,Cora :t::t:
He is smelling the odours of his (dangerous) kingdom ;)

Great work, Bernard. Beautiful scene. Looks as masculin as me. I bet we smell the same too.. ;)

Looks very ancient in build, Bernard. Reminds me of the now extinct (since 7000 years back) Megaloceros giganteus (or Irish Elk). Pure raw nature. Makes a strong impression in more than one sense |=)|
