Sadly I heard today that our friend Jan van den Broeck passed away recently. We'd become good internet friends over the years and I had known for some time that he was very ill. He will be very missed on here by you all, I'm sure.

This is not my best picture, but I'm sure he would have appreciated this. A young blackie looking way far from his best ... but that's how they look as summer dies away and autumn sets in.
I'll try and catch up with comments later, not only am I feeling sad, but I have to go out this afternoon too.
