Wow. How on earth did you capture the one moment in that bird's life where it sat perfectly still for 1/2s? Admit it, you're a taxidermist :)

Last night when I posted my first photo on this forum I noticed your photo here and have been thinking about it ever since. It is one of the most magnificent photos of a bird, any bird, that I have ever seen. The clarity, detail, and colors IMO cannot be surpassed. A job well done that would make anyone proud.
