Indigo-winged ("Fuertes") Parrot (Hapalopsittaca fuertesi)

We were fortunate to find two groups (5 and 6 birds respectively) of this endangered Parrot feeding on fruiting trees near the top of a ridge. Typically they were high up and almost overhead - and with swirling mist/cloud and backlighting the photo opportunities weren't great. This was one of my few shots that showed more than part of the bird and I've only really loaded it in the gallery as there appear to currently be no other shots in Opus (so will add it there too).
