Inspection (Parus major)

The Male Great Tit came first on the 6th March and looked inside and out, then the Female came later that day. They had used my nest box in 2014, 2016 and 2017 when I found a dead youngster in it when I cleared it in June. 2018 not used and in the end they have not used it this year. I had hoped they would come back, I now wonder if they remember the loss in 2017?
