Scientific name

One of the advantages of being a great artist is that you don't have to use a high iso setting at dusk,Bernard. Nice night vision from you and the Owl. :t:

Stunning sketch Bernard, i can feel this Owl's powerful stare!
I love the way you have captured his very expressive face, and the detail in his plumage is wonderful.
Well done on another masterpiece :t::t::t:

Thank you very much for your three nice and very kind comments,Johnny, donald and Sam :t:

Cora and Sam-I think that this extraordinary stare is really very close to the real thing...really impressive in the darkness and solitude of a remote valley ;)

I am so glad to hear you again,Easty!!
I hope you will be able shortly to post again your beautiful north-western american bird images that are missing so much on the gallery!!

Anyway, thank you very much for this comment :t::t:

Great Sketch!! :t: & it really does look like a wise king out on a cold night in its warm fur hooded coat :gh: We don't have that kind of owl here (at least I don't think so but I could be wrong)--you did a great job with it.
