Irish Hoodie (Corvus cornix)

Well folks,
We made a liesurely drive from Dublin to Galway this morning, not much about as the weather is still quite crap. There were a few of these fellas on route, but found an estuary at Oranmore just outside Galway, where there must have been at least 30 of them foraging through the seaweed. Not a bit of sunshine, or any decent light to put a glint in the eye, sorry!!!
Habitat
Fields and Estuaries
Location
Oranmore, Nr Galway, Ireland
Date taken

I'd love to see a Hoodie, Mali, "glint-eyed" or not! ;) Still a nice shot of this busy chap, in spite of the dim conditions!!! o:) :t: :t:

I've met the Irish hoodies and what a great bunch they are! Saw them dropping shells to crack them open along by side of the Dublin Road.
