Is that a pickle in your .......... (Nycticorax nycticorax)

I promised you all that I would post this today! I was photographing this first year Black Crowned Night Heron, catching small minnows and bugs. All of the sudden it came up with what looks like a rather large dill pickle. This is a brackish water, and it is very near a public walkway.....

Either way, It took a while to quit laughing and actually get the photo!

Lol, I indeed does look like a dill pickle Tom. I hope this heron enjoys its meal whatever it is. Excellent capture and picture!!!
