A couple of weeks ago when Joelle was over here, we went to Norfolk for a weekend. Sadly it was drizzle and grey skies the whole time we were there... really maddening because the sun was shining here in Cheshire all the time whilst we were away. We did see one or two rarities but the photographing them was a bit of a waste of time., this was about the best of a bad job. Luckily the food and the booze was brilliant!!

... and the company, I bet that was brilliant too. As for the birding in wet weather, I'll say as my daughter says about biking in the UK: If you don't do it in the rain, when will you get to do it?
