It's all to do with the tail
During a recent visit to Loch of the Lowes I learned that the way to tell Red Squirrels apart was to check their tails.

So now I'm trying to make sure I get a picture showing the tail. Not got very far with that yet I'm afraid

Lol, you learn something new everyday D. Lovely picture of this lovely Red Squirrel showing its tail. Top-notch my friend! TFS!

Lovely behavioural capture. In the 1980s did some people fix squirrel tails on their car antenna.

One question please. Is it ok to show a tarsier living in a sanctuary in Bohol (PH) or is this "kept" by forum guidelines? Thanks for an answer.

When we lived in Stockholm and the Red Squirrels visited the balcony, we were able to keep track of all which was which though my wife was far better than me.
We still have lots of squirrels but they're all a bit anonymous - except when babies show up.
This is a lovely capture of a Red Squirrel.
