Jack Snipe in the snow
At last! Managed to get a shot of a Jack Snipe - and with a Snipe for comparison. May not be the best photo in the world, but it's only the 3rd one I've seen!

Yup, took me a while to spot that little un, you did great to get em both in the same frame, good work.

Thanks all, and yes Hobbes2 I was pretty chuffed! Great views! I note that you are in Herts so this site is really not too far for you, I saw 3 there just standing in one spot - and yesterday there were 5 evidently! They have been regular in exactly the same spot for over a week.
