Javalina (Tayassu tajacu: Tayassuidae) also known as Peccary or Skunk Pig.
Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, Lower Rio grande Valley, adjacent to Arroyo Colorado, Tamaulipan scrub (reclaimed land from an old dump site) at 6 m (20 ft) elevation.
Location
Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, Harlingen, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA.
